Type: Full Time, 37.5 Hours/week Location: Hilperton Marina

As part of a small friendly team working to ensure boats are prepared and maintained to a high standard. A varied job, repairing and servicing our fleet boats along with customers own boats. You will also hand our boats over to holiday hirers ensuring they know how to operate them, and respond to enquiries should they experience a problem during their holiday.

You will deputise for the Marina Manager on all technical issues as required and help train and develop other marina employees.
Full time position available, 37.5 hours per week (five days out of seven) – weekend working essential. Canal and canal boat specific training can be given to the right candidate with good general mechanical knowledge and skills.

Type: Full Time, 37.5 Hours/week Location: Alvechurch Marina Boat Building

Semi or skilled carpenter required as a ‘Boat Fitter’ to join busy narrowboat building team. Full time position Monday to Friday based alongside the canal at Alvechurch.

Duties to include the construction and interior fitting of both new hire and private boats as directed.  General joinery work, measuring, cutting and finishing, to an accurate and high standard using hand and power tools.  The ability to install plumbing, heating, waste, gas, 12/24v and 240v systems and the fitting of units, fixtures and appliances would be an advantage.

Full training is available to the successful candidate.
