UK Boat Hire own and run a fleet of 200 boats operating from 14 distinct starting locations throughout the UK. Ten of these hire bases are in marinas owned by ABC Leisure Group, with a further 4 start points exclusively running holiday hire.
The holiday hire fleet of self-drive narrowboats has the finest of reputations. With their up to date reservation systems, bookings can be made online 24 hours a day, fully complemented by a 7 day booking office allowing personal contact by telephone or Skype.
The combined fleet is the result of both acquisition and growth by the company, with hire craft and the boatyards retaining elements of the branding of Alvechurch Waterway Holidays, Viking Afloat Narrowboat Holidays , Red Line Boats and Wessex Narrowboats.
Holidays range from 3 or 4 night short breaks, (Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday) to weekly hire or longer and the variety of boat layouts can accommodate from 2 to 12 people.
Day hire boats are available from 2 locations with the RYA Helmsman's Course also offering an excellent experience of a day out on the water.
